Terms of use
Last updated 1 October 2026.
Euxie Ledger (“Ledger”) is a personal finance app: daily expenses and a monthly net-worth snapshot. These terms are the agreement between you and Euxie — James Argarin, an individual based in the Philippines — who runs it. By creating an account you agree to them, to the privacy policy, the refund policy and the cookie policy. If you do not agree, do not use Ledger.
Who can use Ledger
You must be 18 or older, and able to enter into an agreement. An account is for one person and that person's own finances.
Your account
Give an email address you can read: it is how you confirm the account, reset the password and hear about changes that affect you. Keep your password to yourself. You are responsible for what is done through your account; if you think someone else has used it, change the password and write to support@euxie.com.
Your data is yours
What you record in Ledger belongs to you. You give Euxie permission to store it, process it and show it back to you, and to send the parts the assistant needs to the AI provider, only so that Ledger can do what it is for. How it is handled is in the privacy policy. You can export all of it at any time, on every plan.
Only record information you have the right to record. If you note what another person owes you, keep it to what you need.
Free and Pro
Ledger is free to use. Ledger Pro adds, for as long as it is active:
- The AI assistant with no monthly limit* — chat, receipts and quick entry
- AI sorting of unknown merchants when you import a spreadsheet
- Emailed spending reports twice a month, and the month-close summary
- Recurring bills that post themselves
- Year in review: your year in figures, with a written summary
- Priority support — your requests answered first, within 1 working day
- The gold Pro look: a Pro badge and gold accents across the app
- New features reach Pro first
* No monthly limit, under the daily fair-use cap in AI limits and fair use below.
Your expenses, net worth, month-end close and export are never behind Pro. If Pro ends, nothing you recorded is deleted: recurring bills stop posting and the emailed report stops, and both resume if you subscribe again.
Prices
- Pro Monthly: ₱99 a month.
- Pro Yearly: ₱999 a year.
- Founding price: ₱799 a year, for the first 100 yearly subscribers. It stays at that price for as long as that subscription keeps renewing. If you cancel and let it lapse, the founding price does not come back.
- Lifetime: ₱2,499 once, limited to 50 accounts. The offer closes when those spots are taken.
Prices are in Philippine pesos and are the whole of what Ledger charges. Anything PayPal or your card issuer adds at checkout — a conversion fee, for instance — is theirs, and PayPal shows it before you pay. A price change never applies to a subscription already running; it applies to new subscriptions only.
Payment and renewal
Payments are handled by PayPal, with a PayPal account or, where PayPal offers it at checkout, a debit or credit card. Ledger never sees your card details; PayPal is given an identifier for your account, not your name or email, so a payment can be matched to it. A subscription renews automatically at the end of each month or year until you cancel it — in Settings → Plan and billing, or in your PayPal account. Cancelling stops the next charge; Pro stays on until the end of the period you already paid for. If you subscribe again while that period is still running, the new subscription starts when it ends — you are not charged twice for the same days.
If a renewal payment fails, PayPal retries it. Pro stays on for up to 3 days past the end of the paid period while it does, and ends if the payment does not go through.
Refunds
Your first payment on a plan is refunded in full if you ask within 7 days. After that, payments are not refunded for time already used, but you can cancel at any time so you are not charged again. The refund policy has the detail: how to ask, what happens to Pro, and what to do if you were charged by mistake.
What “lifetime” means
Lifetime Pro lasts for as long as Ledger operates, with the same limits as every other Pro account (below). It is personal to your account and cannot be transferred. If Ledger ever shuts down, you will get at least 60 days' notice, and exporting your data will keep working until the end.
If you buy Lifetime while a subscription is still paid for, the unused part of the period you last paid for comes off the price, and the subscription stops renewing. The price shown before you pay is the amount charged.
AI limits and fair use
The assistant runs on Google's Gemini API and every message costs real money, so both plans have limits. “No monthly limit” on Pro means there is no count of messages per month; it does not mean unlimited. The daily cap below is the fair-use limit that lets Pro cost what it does.
- Free: 20 AI uses a month, resetting on the 1st (Manila time). One use is one message the AI answers, including one with a photo, PDF or spreadsheet attached. Messages the app files without the AI — like “grab 150” for a merchant you have used before — are free. There is also a daily limit of 40,000 AI tokens.
- Pro (monthly, yearly and lifetime): no monthly limit, and a fair-use daily limit of 100,000 AI tokens per account — well past a heavy day of receipts and questions. It resets at midnight UTC (8am in Manila). A tougher question can use a larger model for its final answer; those tokens count the same.
- There is also a limit on how many messages can be sent in a minute, and a service-wide daily budget. If that budget runs out, the AI pauses for everyone until the next day; the rest of the app keeps working.
These limits can change. A change that makes a paid plan's limit lower is announced in the app at least 30 days before it applies.
Support and new features
Send a request from the feedback button in the app or write to support@euxie.com. The aim is to reply within 3 working days. Requests from a Pro account are marked as Pro and answered first, aiming for 1 working day. These are aims, kept by one person, not guaranteed response times.
New features may reach Pro before they reach Free, and some may stay Pro-only. Nothing Free includes today moves behind Pro.
Not financial advice
Ledger records and adds up your own figures. The assistant and the written summaries describe them; they do not give financial, investment, tax or legal advice, and they can be wrong. Check a figure before you rely on it.
Emails from Ledger
Emails about your account — confirming your address, resetting your password, confirming a payment, a change to these terms — are part of the service. A payment confirmation is Ledger's record of what you paid; it is not an official receipt or invoice. Report emails are sent only if you switch them on. Promotional email is sent only if you opt in, and you can opt out at any time, in Settings or from the link in any promotional email.
Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- share an account, or open several, to get around a plan's limits;
- automate the service, or use the assistant for anything other than your own finances;
- try to reach another account's data, or to break, overload or probe the service;
- upload anything unlawful, or that contains malware;
- resell Ledger or any part of it.
Suspension and closing an account
You can stop using Ledger at any time, cancel Pro in Settings, and have your account deleted as the privacy policy describes.
An account that breaks these terms may be suspended or removed. Where it is possible and safe to, you are told why first and given the chance to export your data. A paid account removed for breaking these terms is not refunded.
The software
The Ledger app — its code, design and content — belongs to Euxie. You may use the app; these terms do not give you any other right in it. Other companies may use the word “Ledger” for their own products; this app is not connected with them. The logos of banks and other providers shown beside your accounts belong to their owners and are used only to identify them.
No warranty
Ledger is provided as it is. It is built with care and its figures are computed by the database, but it can have bugs and it can be down. Keep your own copy of anything you cannot afford to lose — the export is always free.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, Euxie is not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including a financial decision made on a figure Ledger showed, or data lost where an export would have kept it. For anything else, liability is limited to what you paid for Ledger in the 12 months before the claim. Nothing in these terms limits liability that the law does not allow to be limited, or rights the law gives you as a consumer.
Changes and law
These terms may change; the date of the change is shown at the top, and a change that affects a paid plan is announced in the app first. If you keep using Ledger after a change, you accept it. These terms are governed by the laws of the Philippines, and its courts decide any dispute about them.
